There are couple of exciting things we would like to share in this update! First of all, congrats to those of you who have received the 1m Chimera Cable. We know you all loved it as we have been receiving positive feedbacks from you guys all day and reading all of those feedbacks really made our day!
1m Chimera Cable + Magnetic Cable Shipping Update
For those of you who have not receive it and was wondering where your package is, we have received some emails and inquiries from backers telling us they did not receive their tracking number email. We believe the main reason is that the tracking emails were tagged as junk mail.
For those who did not receive it in their junk mail either, kindly contact us via [email protected] or leave a comment below so we can further assist you. We can assure you our team is working around the clock to ensure the packages arrive at your door step as soon as possible.
On a less exciting note, we would like to apologize to those of you who received dented or scuffed packaging. We gave specific instructions to on handling the shipment but unfortunately the fulfillment centre did not follow our instructions. We will make sure any further shipment from now on will be packed in a solid box to protect your items.Trust us when we say we are also heartbroken to hear that as we spend time designing the packaging just to see a smile on your face.

3m Chimera Cable
As for the 3m Chimera Cable, it will be ready for shipping on 21st July. We apologize for the long wait as we had to make minor modifications to improve the power and durability of the cable. The 3m version will have a thicker and stronger wire to carry more current, which compensate the lost of current of a normal long cable.
Backers who pledged for the 3m Chimera Cable will receive their tracking number around end of July.

We have a couple of important announcements to make in this update.
Survey Completion Status
It has been a week since we last sent out the survey email! So far, 78% of the survey has been filled and we have a whopping 30% add-on purchase rate! For backers who have not yet completed your survey, please finish it ASAP so we can confirm the total order quantity. For Backers who have already completed the survey and want to purchase more add-on, you can still edit your order here.
Shipping Status
We are excited to let you know that rewards for the 1m Chimera cables are shipping in early July! As for the 3m variant of the Chimera Cable, you are getting them really soon as we are shipping them in late July. We apologize for letting you wait but please do understand we had to make some adjustments during production as well as re-scaling the packaging.
3M Chimera Variant Changes
For those of you who opted for our 3m variant Chimera Cable, we have made a minor adjustment to speed up the charging speed. The main cable(Micro-USB to USB-C) will be switched to USB-C to USB-C, which will effectively increase the charging speed at this length. Please check out the image below to identify the adjustment(highlighted in yellow).
Update on the Magnetic Adapter
In the process of test using our magnetic adapter with Chimera cable, our test users begun to notice a subtle issue - The magnetic adapter attached on Chimera's Micro-USB end causes the other adapters to obstruct user's hand. We know it isn't a big issue but at Futurizta, we strive to make everything perfect, easy and comfortable to use. Have a look at the short GIF below to understand the user scenario.

With that in mind, we have decided to change the female port on the magnetic adapter from Micro-USB to USB-C to improve your comfort when using our products.
